Apparently international stardom doesn’t guarantee you a reservation.

Tennis icon Serena Williams claimed that she wasn’t permitted to eat in the rooftop of Paris’ The Peninsula on Monday night.

“Yikes @peninsulaparis I’ve been denied access to rooftop to eat in a empty restaurant of nicer places but never with my kids. Always a first. #Olympic2024,” Williams wrote, adding a melting face and rolling eyes emoji.

Williams’ fans expressed their sympathy and tried to lighten the mood in her replies.

“Who doesn’t make room for a queen?” wrote one user.

“You can buy the whole damn place,” wrote another, alluding to Williams’ nearly $100 million in career prize money.
