Simone Biles, NFL husband Jonathan Owens ‘always’ talk about having kids
Simone Biles “definitely” wants to be a mother one day.
Biles, coming off her performance in the 2024 Olympics where she won three gold medals and a silver, spoke to Hoda Kotb on NBC’s “Today” show on Tuesday about a wide range of topics.
Kotb told Biles that she could “easily” see the gymnast as a mother and asked her whether she has thought about that phase of her life.
“Yes, me and Jonathan always talk about kids,” Biles answered, referring to her husband, Bears defensive back Jonathan Owens.
“He would have had them like yesterday if he could have. Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family.”
Kotb followed up, asking Biles if she sees herself as a mom.
“Yes, most definitely,” Biles said.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kotb wondered if Paris was the swan song for Biles’ Olympics gymnastics career.
“You know, you never say never. The next Olympics [Los Angeles 2028] is on home turf, so you just never know,” Biles laughed. “I’m just gonna relax and see where life takes me.”

Owens told People this week that he would support his wife “a thousand percent” if she decides to recommit to an Olympics competition.
